Fabulous massage room and prize winning massage - Living Social Customer
Janelle has a 6th-sense at figuring out how to make the pain go away. My shoulder has been hurting me for months, after two sessions with her I've gained back flexibility and the pain is almost gone. I wouldn't have believed you if you told me this a month ago, so go try it yourself, she has great first time customer prices.- Sara M.
Massage is Wonderful....it was very relaxing - Mary W.
Awesome! The delightful soothing music & Janelle's experienced hands will melt all your tensions away. I would like to try something different next time, perhaps the stones. - Gail K.
Lypossage, natural body contouring
What is Lypossage?
A specific detoxifying and body contouring treatment that delivers measureable results in dramatic inch loss, cellulite reduction and/or a natural facelift. The key elements in the Lypossage treatments are Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Release with Deep Tissue massage. Lypossage is based on research done by therapist Charles Wiltsie in 1999. The women in this study showed a 6+ average inch loss in the thighs, buttocks and abdomen from this procedure.
How does it work?
Lypossage cleanses the body of stagnant, stalled lymphatic fluid the creates the lumps and bulges in our bodies. As actual waste (lymphatic fluid) travels through the body, it can get trapped in the adipose tissue, resulting in lumps, bulges and dimpling known as cellulite. Lypossage targets the problem areas to systematically promote circulation, break-up the adhesions and assist the body's lymph system resulting in improvement in tone and shapelier contour.
What parts of the body respond to Lypossage?
Lypossage is divided into three zones.
1. Zone One: thighs, buttocks, and lower abdomen
2. Zone Two: back, upper abdomen and arms
3. Zone Three: face, neck, and head resulting in a natural facelift
Does it really work?
Can specific forms of massage help reduce cellulite? A year long study of Lypossage was conducted on 100 women between the ages of 25 and 55. Ninety-five percent of the women lost dimension in targeted areas. Lypossage smoothed areas affected by cellulite. Dimensions were reduced by an average of 5 inches. In the beginning of the study, many of the women were considering liposuction. By the end of the study, the women were pleased with their results and none of them chose to have the liposuction.
Is it safe?
Lypossage is a non-invasive, natural health treatment that helps to cleanse the body of toxins and retained fluids. Lypossage can be safely experienced by most healthy individuals. It is much safer than surgical procedures, such as liposuction.
What are the treatments?
The treatments last about 30-45 minutes and is performed in a series of 18 sessions, over the course of 6 weeks. It is important to note that for zones 1 and 2, most clients won't see noticeable results until about 8-10 sessions. After that progress can be quite dramatic. Zone 3 results can be noticeable after just one session and can be received as an individual stand alone service.
Who can perform Lypossage?
Lypossage practitioners are specially trained massage and body professionals who have learned this extraordinary hands on technique and have been certified to practice under the Lypossage name. Janelle King LMT, is a certified Lypossage practitioner.
